My family decided to brave the Baltimore Star Spangled Sailabration when we figured that, due to the lack of scheduled events, it would be the least crowded day of the festival. Less crowded: Possibly. Not crowded: …No

There were ships from all over the world, including the Indonesian Dewaruci, which was clad in countless brilliantly coloured flags.

Back when I still ate fish, there was a great seafood restaurant here that my family would always have dinner at whenever we were in Baltimore. It closed a while back, and was replaced by the above tourist trap.

We didn’t tour any of the large ships because the lines stretched well in excess of 45 minutes long, which isn’t to say we spent no time standing and waiting to get somewhere because of a mob in front of us.
