Riverbend Blossoms

Though the highlights of the shoot last weekend at Riverbend Park were the bugs (I.E: the jumping spiders), the park was full of  blooming flowers & local wildlife

Riverbend is famous for its countless bluebells, which line the path on either side. We went on the perfect day, when nearly all the flowers were in full bloom

We spotted what seems to be a black rat snake lounging on a tree. One of the knowledgeable park-people back at the visitor centre told that it’s eye is grey like that because the snake is about to shed its skin

The weather was the nicest it’s been all year, with enough clouds blocking the sun to keep light diffused for flower photography
